It has been almost fifteen years since i started programming in Pascal as a hobby. In the mean time, i've got a lot of experience, acquired large amount of knowledge and turned a skilled Pascal developer. In the last years, i turned my attention to web development as a way to expand my knowledge and hopefully make better applications.
Initially i tried to create web applications with Pascal, but this approach falls short in term of productivity and flexibility. So i decided to embrace the web as is and use JavaScript, HTML and CSS as my main tools. It not means i'm abandoning Pascal development. The backend will still be created with FreePascal and will be used by both web clients and LCL based desktop clients.
This blog is to record the challenges, decisions and progress in this new road i'm taking. Just like i've been doing with Pascal / Lazarus.
